Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Support and Operations Assistant to join our team. This multifaceted role combines customer service excellence with operational support to ensure smooth and efficient business processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable navigating shipping software, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities/Qualifications

  • Utilize Microsoft Office skills to assist with data entry tasks.
  • Prepare reports, worksheets, schedules, and procedures.
  • Navigate large and small parcel shipping software.
  • Generate quotes, bills of lading, labels, and tracking information.
  • Provide excellent customer service by utilizing strong communication skills, answering questions about products, and ability to resolve issues.
  • Use phone etiquette to handle incoming calls and inquiries.
  • Handle tracking of shipments and returns.
  • Documentation of freight damages and submission of freight claims.
  • Assist with office management tasks as needed.
  • Utilize computer literacy to support various office functions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Utilize organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Perform other administrative duties such as filing and organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with shipping or logistics software is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Previous experience in customer service or operations support preferred but not required.
